Malaysian elections Malaysian elections. I know i know, you all will go like: AGAIN?! PLEASE LAH WEI YNG I KNOW LAH YOU LOVE ELECTIONS, BUT THEY BORE ME TO Aihs. Your pathetic blogger over here is running out of topics to blog.. so give me a chance lah... and. Elections is my most favourite topic at the moment. I've asked my mom if she could vote for the president in the US, who would she vote? her answer: McCain lah! My parents don't favour Clinton nor Obama. My dad says McCain will win. Yes la yes la. i know i'm repeating myself, i'm so out of things to blog already! Don't blame your poor pathetic blogger, please? Now, we all so tiny country, Malaysians... tend to *ahem* cross many oceans to know about political business that doesn't really affect us, but thats what makes us Malaysians, right? Everyone listens to mainstream music, like *cough* yours truly, and many other people. Even if those rare people who listen to indie bands, they listen to angmoh/overseas bands. They just deem that Malaysian singers are just too horrible. I have to sadly admit, YES. THEY SHUCK BALLS. the music videos make me revolt. Like Sasi the Don, his music video, Hey General, makes me loya/meluat. Like Mawi's videos, FAKE. Sorry to all the Mawi fans out there who somehow thinks that he's hot, but... yeah. Anyway, out of the music section, lets move on to the politics, which i haven't gotten quite i graasp of it yet. I just found out from my mom that we don't get to vote for which Prime Minister we want! :O NOT FAIR!!!!!! Only Penang gets to vote, because there is where the freaking constituency is built. WTF LAR. That especially post is what that is supposed to be nationwide like the US. The coming elections is just to vote for the local DUN and for the forking Parliament seat. WTF lah. no shiok betul. Anyway, Carolyn called me to take a look at Kenny Sia's blog today, it was about a Which-Party-Should-You-Vote-For-Generator. Mostly aimed at young 21 year old 'uns that don't know, who they should vote. Haihz, for those super duper lazy people like this lazy person who is miraculously blogging right now, i introduce to you how should you vote if you havent made up your mind. It is 100% reliable. HOW? you might wonder. *smirk* ............ okay, okay, i lose lah. I can see all your accusing stares at me...what's going on in your mind right now is: This girl, so DUMB, and she's telling people how to vote for who? Who does she think she is? the PM?Think again, my blog readers, what kind of inspiration can past through my fickle and nearly-empty head? nothing, right? tsk tsk tsk. Okay, i should cut all the crap. Step 1: COLLECT ALL POSTERS OF CONTESTANTS. all lah. Keadilan, Barisan Nasional, PAS, DAP... whatever that you can get your hands on. Or more likely who is contesting in your area. :) In my case, its Subang Jaya, so... BLAH. i cannot find any picture of the contestants. There's a picture of the person you're supposed to vote for, if you cant happen to get your hands on them flyers. Step2: this is really important. You decide which one appeals to you more. *cough* of course i mean, which is the hottest for you. Rule out all the fat and pruny ones. :D hint: the DAP women are quite apppealing. LOL. Step3: ALSO IMPORTANT. why? PUT AN "X" on who you've decided is the hottest. what i mean is, put a BIG BIG BIIIIGGGGGGG "X" on the box provided. No "ticks" like what dumb dumb Su Rei did on our Std 5 election for Ketua Pengawas. A BIGGGGGG "X", remember! Otherwise, your vote WASTED LAH. No shiok already, right? :D and yes, please turn up on time. Election day is March 8, 8am to 5pm. Heck, this is like oncein4yearstime chance, so go decide who you want to vote and turn up on time and vote correctly!!!! i hope my 3 failsafe steps help you stranded-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-of-who-to-vote legal people to decide who to vote, eh? -weiyng. i don't wanna get sued, so i'm going to say all of the above about Malaysian elections is completely crapped up by me. I don't want to jepoardize my entire academic future for one stupid blog post.. :{ ps. i hope my steps really help. No, i'm just joking. t'cha! 12:36 AM
